Dr Bhavika Patel, GP
MPharm (Hons), MBChB, MRCGP
Bhavi started off her career as a Community Pharmacist in 2007, living and working in the
Leicestershire and Rutland region in the UK. She eventually went on to study medicine, initially pursuing paediatrics before deciding to train as a GP in Oxford. She lived and worked there for 8 years before moving to Jersey with her family. She has a wide breadth of experience in specialities such as paediatrics, emergency medicine, ear nose and throat surgery, general surgery, acute medicine, elderly care and dermatology.
She offers joint injections, cryotherapy, smear screening and has an interest in women’s health.
In her spare time she enjoys globe-trotting as well as practising yoga, meditation, ayurveda and spending time with friends and family. She also volunteers for and helps to organise an annual charitable event in the UK hosting up to 20,000 members of the public.

Dr Maria (Chus) Tome GP
Dr. Maria is a passionate and dedicated GP, originally from Spain, who graduated from the prestigious University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid - where renowned writer Miguel de Cervantes wrote his famous Don Quijote. Inspired by Cervantes' own adventures, Dr. Maria embarked on her own journey, first practicing in Madrid and moving to the UK before finding her home on the beautiful island of Jersey in 2020, just before the Covid-19 lockdown.
Her experience spans across diverse areas of medicine. Before moving to Jersey, Dr. Maria works in the NHS as a GP for 20 years (2 decades) along with being a medico-legal expert in personal injuries since 2008. Once on the island, she quickly immersed herself in the healthcare system, as a GP and played a pivotal role during the Covid pandemic. Dr Maria served as the Clinical GP Lead for the Fort Regent Vaccination Programme, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of vaccines to the local community. Following the completion of the vaccination programme, she returned to her passion for general practice.
Dr. Maria has a particular interest in mental health, women's health, and rheumatology, making her an invaluable asset to the healthcare community. She is also deeply committed to supporting the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking communities, offering a bilingual approach to care that fosters trust and understanding.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Maria is a true lover of nature. She enjoys exploring Jersey’s stunning outdoors, with a particular fondness for walking and discovering the island’s natural beauty.
Dr. Maria's dedication to her patients, her diverse expertise, and her deep appreciation for the island make her a well-respected and beloved member of the healthcare community in Jersey.

Dr Ranjan Vhadra, Orthopaedic and MRI specialist
MBBS, FRSC
Dr Vhadra is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 20 years experience as a consultant treating orthopaedic conditions. His specialist interest is managing muscle, joint and tendon conditions conservatively without needing surgery, using the latest advances in orthobiologic treatments. Mr Vhadra has trained as a doctor at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. His higher surgical training was at some of the most prestigious hospitals for orthopaedics in the UK, as well as training at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, New York.
Dr Ranjan has published many research papers which have been presented internationally. He also has patents on many medical devices he has invented. Mr Vhadra runs his own clinic called First Contact Health in Guernsey and has his own MRI scanners and CT scanners, as well as consulting in Jersey at Windsor Medical. Mr Vhadra can see and treat all joint conditions, particularly knee, hip, shoulder, spine, foot and ankle disorders, and he can perform ultrasound-guided injections of corticosteroid Hyaluronic acid or Platelet-rich plasma. Mr Vhadra is also a specialist in preventative health medicine and performs whole-body assessments for patients who may need MRI scans or referral for physiotherapy or surgery.

Dr Andrew Peel
Dr Peel brings decades of experience to Windsor. His previous experience in the UK had been focused on helping GP practices improve their performance from the perspective of the patient experience and in relation to their CQC scoring.
The opportunity to work at Windsor Medical arose at an ideal time as his children had grown up and so a move to Jersey was on!
Windsor Medical has provided the perfect environment to deliver the very best primary care in a refreshing and caring practice. His interests in mens’ health, mental health, and care of the elderly align perfectly with the practice’s goals.
He is keen to assist patients by supporting them in a variety of situations needing attention to detail whether this relates to medication reviews or in writing on behalf of a patient to a third party or organisation.
Outside of work, he can be found wandering on Jersey’s beautiful coastal paths or following any local rugby team.

Dr Mark Wilbourn
Mark trained at the University of Southampton. He undertook Basic Surgical Training in Rotherham and Sheffield. He subsequently spent four years training in ENT and Maxillofacial Surgery before deciding that only General Practice offered the breadth of practice that he was suited to. He therefore opted to train as a GP in the Wessex region.
After his medical degree, Mark has undertaken the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England diploma, the Diploma in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health and Epidemiology, the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has some diplomas in nutrition. He has been awarded the Royal College of General Practitioners Fellowship, their highest award.
Mark moved to Jersey in 2010 and has worked in Rosewood House, Sandybrook Nursing Home, Island Medical Centre and the Primary Care Governance Team.
Mark currently works part time 5 days per week for Windsor Medical Practice and alternate Saturday mornings. He is also a GP appraiser and former Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor. He is a Trustee of The Oxygen Centre, MSNTC trustee and a qualified Barochamber operator.

Dr Steffen Osbelt - Windsor (CBPM)
Steffen is originally from Germany and started his medical career working as a Paramedic during medical school. In Steffen’s early career, he specialised in gastroenterology and acute psychiatry and then later moved into General Practice.
Steffen currently works 3 days a week at Windsor CBPMS, and is also one of the teams specialists in medicinal cannabis.
Steffen is also a teaching consultant for Snaefell Surgery in Douglas, Isle of Man whereby he mentors and trains Pharmacists in their independent prescribing.
Outside of work, Steffen is a keen cyclist, and enjoys the outdoors.
